The best product Alesis have ever made in my opinion, which admittedly says a lot for my opinion of Alesis. A simple preset-only effects box with the usual range of bread and butter effects, the MIDIverb II nevertheless has some nice clean reverbs, including some wonderful blooms, and some gentle chorusing programs. All the other Alesis boxes I've come across, including the flagship QuadraVerb 2, somehow seem grubby and characterless by comparison. Of course, your mileage will vary.

Oh: don't lose the instruction chart for the thing. Otherwise you'll come to the unit one day and realise you've totally forgotten how to set up the program change map.
