        <s:content>{!components/__archivelogo}&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;{image:img=prodigy.jpeg|align=float-right}&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;The ~~Prodigy~~ is a simple, dual-oscillator analogue monosynth&#xD;&#xA;with a single filter and two three-stage envelopes. It also has&#xD;&#xA;oscillator sync. I consider it&#xD;&#xA;slightly overrated; certainly, it lacks the programming and modulation&#xD;&#xA;options of the MiniMoog, and has a rather weak sound. As a&#xD;&#xA;beginner&apos;s analogue keyboard, though, it&apos;s clearly laid out and easy&#xD;&#xA;to use.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;I paid ?95 for my unit back in 1986, before moving totally into&#xD;&#xA;MIDI, and sold it a few years later for around ?80. Currently,&#xD;&#xA;units demand around ?250, which is a stupid price, but not&#xD;&#xA;surprising for the trendy analogue set.&#xD;&#xA;</s:content>
