Atomium City

Work continues on
Quartet: we have just finished a stint of work in Brussels with
Stevie and
Todor at the "music division" on the virtual instrument design, and have been turning out a few user interface objects for Max/MSP which I hope will get rolled out for public consumption in the near future.
No trip to Brussels is complete without a visit to the
Atomium, André WaterKeyn's magnificent building erected for the 1958 Expo to promote the Belgian steel industry. The internal exhibits are modest, but the building itself is magnificent, especially after its recent renovation. It's not (for me) quite as strong a trancendental architectural experience as the
Place de la Defense in Paris, but it comes close.
