A burst of activity on Java-based embedded scripting languages for >>MaxMSP has collided nicely with the arrival of our >>monome one twenty eight, resulting in >>shado, an open-source sprite and compositing library designed to be controlled in realtime by a scripting library. (We favour >>Python, having grown to like it over the last few months.) Now that shado is pretty much finished, it's time to start building things with it. In the meantime, here are links to some demo animation videos:
