Gig announcement: Anarchy in the Organism, and Plenum (Simeon Nelson with Rob Godman and Nick Rothwell), at the Frome Festival, July 11th. This is the first time we’ve attempted a custom three-screen display for both pieces (the only non-projection version of Anarchy was the original installation at the Wellcome Trust, while Plenum has, so far, always been projected). We’re delighted to welcome back Kate Romano on clarinet.
Anarchy in the Organism: Live
We’re in the process of doing the final software tweaks and test runs for Simeon Nelson’s Anarchy in the Organism, which embarks on a sporadic but select tour next week. Musical score is by Rob Godman, played by the Goldfield Ensemble.
More information on the Wellcome Trust web site.
Dates:
- 18th November: Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival
- 12th January 2014: Kings Place
Anarchy in the Organism
The Wellcome Trust-funded installation piece Anarchy in the Organism by Simeon Nelson has just gone live at the UCLH Cancer Centre. We designed and built the animation and rendering system; Rob Godman composed the multichannel soundtrack.
Plenum at Lumiere Durham
This short video shows Plenum projected onto St. Oswald’s church as part of the Lumiere Durham festival. This was the third outing for the piece this year, the first two being at Skyway (Toruń, Poland) and Valgus (Tallinn, Estonia), associated with Lux Scientia.
